Flower Field Holi Performance

Indian American Kathak exponent Paramita Bhattacharyya performed March 24, 2019 at a Holi event organized by Our Indian Culture at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California. The festival of colors is a symbol of love, friendship, and peace and so her performance focused on the “flavor and colors of love”. Fast footwork and smooth spins, two of the most significant aspects of Kathak, were part of her graceful presentation.
In San Diego County, one of the most impressive and gorgeous venues is the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. Dancer Paramita Bhattacharyya blends Holi colors with Kathak at a SoCal performance. She captivated the audience with her detailed expression, postural attitudes, timing, and dynamic phrasing.
